Man in all my days i’ve never witnessed a gathering of so many Pro Swastika supporters . Why have so many waisted so much of there time trying to educate the idiots of the world. use the symbol if ya choose, here in the states its your right and ya dont need to explain why! me i’m confrontational anyway and i use it mostly to provoke the ignorant idiots that have no clue what it stands for, nothing gets my goat more than ignorances especially in an age where information is just a key stroke away. Its only a consequence that i cant stand Jews, Blacks and the Lazy ass native american

I like the idea of distancing the Swastika from the Nazis. I’m not spiritual but I just like the way the Swastika looks. Id like to be able to wear one without being called a Nazi.

From a Taoist perspective, the swastika in ancient times up until the 20th century was a universal symbol for well-being and good luck. Then the Tao shifted and it became known as a symbol for racism and murder. It’ll come back around again, but it might be a while. Until then, having an affection for it, I still use it even if people think I’m a neo-Nazi. And even if they think that, at least they are reminded of evil.

The Swastika and all other non-Swastika symbols of the world, will “come around” only when WE bring it around, by educating, or re-educating, and, USING IT, again!

From what I was taught, and I believe we need to be careful how we use it, the swastika is the symbol of eternal life, good luck and well being, depending on how it is placed and utilized. Hitler wanted to utilize it as his own symbol for power and gain, not realizing that when symbol was given to him, it was given to him in reverse. Counterclockwise. Whoever gave it to him knew of his intentions at the time and didn’t want the symbol to be desecrated, therefore did not really give him the symbol of eternal life but that of Hate, Chaos and the creation of his own demise.

According to Chinese death money, which is given when somebody passes on, even to this day, the swastika is printed in the opposite direction of that which is printed on the Nazi flag. Forward motion = eternal life, health and luck in the afterlife; backward motion = eternal damnation. Every time we look backwards into history and what Hitler has done, he will forever be condemned for his behavior along with a symbol that did NOT signify eternal life. Those who utilize the swastika in their practice need to be very aware of this. Remember, time moves forward, not backward. Really look at the symbol before you use it, make it, paint it, whatever your medium is! If we want to reclaim the swastika, utilize it as it was originally intended, in a forward motion for well being and good luck. THAT is eternal life.
    Thanks for listening.

I am a holistic healer and i use the swastika to heal people. I used it to heal Alzheimers and turned out successful. Now i use it for everything. It is universal and the most powerful symbol in all of existence. What a universe! Thank you and i love you!

Thank-you for the information on this website. I received a family heirloom yesterday-a locket with the swastika outline in gems on the back. Family lore has it from Russia, the gift of a sea captain to his wife-definitely 100 years old or older.
I received this gift on the 2 year anniversary of a cancer diagnosis. The “good life, not to be destroyed” meaning is an auspicious one for me that I am taking to heart. If anyone asks why I am wearing a swastika, then I will tell them the story and so help to reclaim its positive meaning.
    Thanks again,

I do love the appearance of the swastika. It has been used in nearly every culture on Earth, and still appears in and on numerous Christian churches throughout Europe. Unfortunately, it is a charged symbol, and as long as it is actively associated with the Nazi regime and what it represents, it will forever remain tainted in the minds of men.

In order to neutralize or weaken the association, we must find a way to desensitize the public to it. That is, it must be presented in contexts other than those specifically related to the Nazis. When WWII is covered, especially the Nazi regime, it must be mentioned in a very tangential way to highlight that the symbol they chose is not identical to what they represented. Or, it should not be highlighted at all. That is, it might appear in pictures, but there should be either no discussion of the swastika, or discussion should take specific pains to make the reader aware that the Nazis misappropriated an ancient symbol, perhaps even misused it (a biased value judgment, but so what; the same can be said of the Nazis), thus minimizing the perceived association. If we can multiply the associations between the symbol and what it has been used for, we can begin the use it again for other purposes. I am not sure, but it may be possible to find a Jewish use of the swastika, perhaps in Kabbalah, that would offer what can be perceived as a diametrically opposed use of it. This could certainly remove the perceived necessary association of the swastika with Nazi ideology and actions.

The swastika is a human symbol, used by virtually all cultures throughout history.
Perhaps some day we will recognize that all humans are the same species, the same family, and the swastika can be our symbol for unity.

Great site, thankyou for making it.

I agree with bringing the symbol back to it’s roots, for too long the Nazi’s/Neo-Nazi have perverted it, and used it…

take a look on facebook soon (if anyone uses it) and there might just be a group dedicated to reclaiming the Swastika :)

    Peace always.

Is it anything new. traditionally the world has used indian symbols, ancient indian discoveries, inventions and claimed it as their own. use or misuse, ultimately we indians lose out.

even today, umpteen western cos try to file patents on ancient indian discoveries esp in ayurveda.

  17. 1044. Tadas says:

We need to fight for this like we need to fight for other things in life. It would be a step closer to a life where everyone could freely choose how to live, what to do, what to wear and so on. It would be a step closer to our freedom. Cause those swines sitting in their chairs are saying for us what we should do and what we shouldn’t. Let’s show those swines that we will not listen to them and lets use Svastika freely where ever we want, and do things that we always wanted to do as long they don’t hurt some body.

Its sad that something representing peace was used for a regime that was evil. And it would nice for it to come back to its roots. But at the same time, there is a worldwide outlook on the swastika of pain. So while you have good intentions for this symbol, I think its highly unlikely that we as a planet can just get over it. The nazi’s will unfortunately never be forgotten and neither will their trademark. Sorry…

I have made a study of abbrieviations (prefix, middle, suffix) in the Romanised transliterations of languages and the resulting gramatical picture is that the ‘SUN’ is the main ‘GOD’ of the pantheon that make up our words. This study has made me aware that the swastika is also the later Christianised sun symbol of the Chi-rho = Xp = hr = Hari.
