u should allow critics to write here also. there are always people of two types, those who speak for u and those who speak against u. both should be treated equally. no body can stop the sun from rising on the horizon. the truth will come out one day .
i am very sorry if any body felt hurty about this. but before coming to conclustions one should analyse and atleast pay a look at the facts.

I would anticipate that the Authors of this “Reclaim The Swastika” domain share our sentiments as we do theirs!
It was one man who seemed to permanently corrupt a symbol which meant good things for so many centuries. I’m doing a “controversial series of paintings” and my main subject is the swastika and how it was used thoughout history before Adolf Hitler.
Why is it I’m being harrassed by the locals here for supporting the use of this symbol? Why is it still so controversial? I mean really, my generation, the teenagers and young adults, have become so comfortable with everything else.
My series of paintings WILL be displayed on my various web pages once I finish them. I agree with Lone Wolf back there. Why allow this symbol to be so unacceptable? I so go for it and use it as it was used before WWII, before the Nazis.

RESPONSE: To us, BLACK, represents the West, where the Sun Dies and the Thunder Comes, when even we sleep as the light is dimmed. RESPONSE: The Swastika, is Balanced, equal on all sides, from within and without. There is also a Balance between Evil and Good. But, this, I shall leave for someone else’s wisdom.
I was always heart-broken to know that the Nazi’s had turned this symbol that I was intrested in, into something associated with such hatred of other Cultures & Belief Systems.
RESPONSE: It was neither Hitler, nor the Nazi’s who turned this symbol into an evil one., neither by ‘association!’ It was merely used (The German Form) as the Nazi’s Loga, Emblem, Charm, etc.
It was later, and by others, that the world body was cooerced or misled into believing and treating the Swastika and all shapes and forms of it as “Evil!”
However, the Swastika, NEVER became, nor was ever evil. And, as with any and all symbols, will never become evil!

We need no trinkets to know that any evil individual is dead, or at least the body, thereof. And, NO ONE can “Own” another, anymore than we can “Own” the land from which we come.
Unfortunately, Hitler, nor the Nazis “Bred” any negativity or hatred. These entities only planted the seeds that brought is to the surface of many others who already had these imbalances within themselves. One cannot Breed Hatred. This is a Learned Behavior. RESPONSE: Your painting never died! Perhaps, you, yourself, let it so. Even if the painting has burned to ash in a fire, the painting should have always been alive within your own mind and heart. My question would be, Why did you let it die?

However, it is very important not just to “Remember” but, just as the Site’s Title implies, to “Reclaim” and USE OUR SYMBOL as we once did and should never have stopped because of a handful of civil, social, nationalistic & intellectual bullies who dictated that we trash our own traditions, because they have, in fact, developed their own degrees of new Hatred(s).

RESPONSE: Hitler never OWNED the Swastika. The German form, belonged to all Germans, and the German form did not belong to Hitler either: Hitler was an Austrian Jew. Austrians and Jews have their own symbols.

I, as a child, was somehow drawn to the geometric shape & “flow” of the Swastika symbol. It is a root to a painting that I made in my late teen’s, painted in 3 colors: Red, Black & White. . .
The Red & Black were from my perspective – - equal in their portrayal, Black = darkness, forboding & provoking thoughts of melancholy, the Red = dominance, anger, hatred & evil. The white, I intentionally portrayed as MUCH LESS in the picture. Reason being, as a troubled Lad, to me it was the failing image of the good of mankind. I believe is becoming so much harder to find because of our Human Condition that could potentially destroy not only ourselves, but also ANY realm in which we live.
This picture that I made, resembles the Swastika in the fact that it is very directional, flowing from inside out. Almost as if the Darkness & Hatred almost seemingly over-shadow the Light – - yet the good of mankind still hangs on, not to become extinct.
