NATIVE AMERICAN EMBASSY & HOLOCAUST MUSEUM:
We have contemplated becoming instrumental as Primary Principle to Revive the World Sacred Swastika Symbol for near 20 Years.
It came time: We have begun the task in September of 2009.

We are advocating that all Peoples, worldwide, take their Swastika back and start using it again.

The Swastika, in whatever form it was originaly intended & used was never evil, but only became offensive to a select few individuals and groups as a result of this Spiritual Sign having been misused by an evil and emotionologicaly dysfunctional Austrian/Jewish Mixed-Blood who went on to become the evil dictator of germany during the oppressive Nazi era.

Take this Symbol away from the world’s biggots and other Hate groups & individuals, and, it then can no longer be used effectively as a Hate symbol!

In the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc (Runic Alphabet) we find the ‘Sigel (sun) S’. One ‘Sigel’ placed across another at a right angle gives us a fower-fot, a fylfot.

The same can be done with another Anglo-Saxon Furthorc rune the ‘eoh (yew) symbol’.

What I do not agree is the assumption that the FOWER-FOT/ FYLFOT or as some call it the swastika originated in one or two specific places and then spread out without ceasing.

Of course it spread to a certain extent from some areas but I think scholars over estimate this and do not give many cultures and civilisations and even the individual, credit and respect in terms of their innate creativity, which is in all of us.

Personally I believe item emerged independently in many different cultivates around the world.

As someone who is involved in art, and no doubt some of you will remember from your younger days that when you first started to draw. There was a number of patterns you automatically drew. These shapes being a circle, square, and crossed lines. (and a triangle).

Continuing to explore shapes you add a small inner circle inside the larger circle. Then you add radiant arched lines from the inner circle to the outer. Now you have a fower-fot/ fylfot. With the crossed lines you simply add other lines at an angle (and so on if you wish) and you have another fower-fot / fylfort.

These shapes can be created inside a square and become more elaborate with turns and rolls.

So this is why I do not believe the fower-fot/ fylfot or swastika originated in only one or two areas and civilisations. I believe it’s creation is the natural innate creatively of humans around the world. And their common if not similar understanding in how the shape appears to manifest it’s various patterns in the their observations and understanding of the world they lived . …And in which we live.

In fact billions of people around the world have the fower-fot / fylfot or swastika in their bathrooms, kitchens and places of work.. Just look down at your bathroom and kitchen plug-holes !

As a native ethnic indigenous Englishman (an Anglo-Saxon) who has his own cultural identity and native religion with it’s own gods and goddess. I too find the banning of what my people call the ‘ FYLFOT ‘ form old English meaning FOWER FOT, meaning four-footed or many footed.; – I find it very disturbing to ban this image there is no reason to ban this incredible and ancient symbol.

Many fylfort symbols have been found in England from urns, pendants, brooches, cremation urns, hilts, art etc. Also found in English Christian religious art and symbolism.

The FYLFOT/FOWER FOT (FOUR FOOTED) was and still is a sacred symbol to many native ethnic indigenous English people. It is associated with the sun and our thunder god ‘THUNOR’ (the vikings called him Thor). From Thunor we have the days name called Thursday.

Thunor was not just renowned for his strength and hammer and defending the other gods. He was associated with the weather and crops and god of farmers, peasants, serfs and slaves.

My family fought against the nazis in WW2 and I find it offensive that because of those nazis my people are having part of their culture removed by ignorant politicians. My native English culture along with many other cultures are being attacked by bureaucratic ignorance. We must stop this stupidity.

Below is a photograph of an Anglo-Saxon urn with Fylfot/fower fot decoration. Is it possible to enlarge the Photo and put this on your Photos page please?

It’s safe to say that the nazi’s did as good job of brand association with the swastika as coca-cola did with american santa claus. I’m happy to say I have a friend from india whose name is Swastika, but sadly she doesn’t use it in public. I’m trying to figure out ways of using the symbol without it’s associated nazi inheritance, but unfortunately I work in the same colour pallete so it’s really hard. Thanks for the site! Spread the word.

Thanks to whoever created this website… It is sad that a few twisted people took something totally positive and turned it into the exact opposite. I have collected Chinese antiques for a number of years and got interested in their symbolism as a result. I have some silk textiles, an Imperial Court Robe, and some other silk embroideries which are exquisite. There are swastikas prominently placed on them because of it’s powerful positive symbolism. Many people are still ignorant to it’s true origins and meaning. Just as with the Civil Rights Movement, ignorance is often what kept forward movement from occurring and enlightenment and growth as one people.
Keep this thing going! If we want to change things…we need to be involved.

In the Maya culture in Yucatán, the swastika is a astronomical symbol for the Polar Star. And mountain climbers like me use as a recordatory of our ancient cultures.

I know the swastika has an old and honorable pre-nazi history–but I would advise anybody to think twice before getting a swastika tattoo or wearing a swastika armband to a party–at least don’t put it on til you get there and be sure the other guests know what you are about. People who know the deep meaning of the swastika are few and far between. Most people will react negatively and treat you with contempt. The police won’t like you. And, worst of all, you may attract the love of skinheads and other assorted sociopaths.

  13. 768. Jamie says:

I love how this website was made, it explains the clear truth of the swastika, for many years I have tried to explain to people that the swastika was not invented by the Nazi Party, nor was it to represent ‘world domination’ or ‘evil’ as they were led to believe.

I understand how many people would see it as an evil symbol, and think that everybody who wears it are trouble makers, but they’re just focusing on what happened during World War II, for that reason alone I got royally ticked off and wanted to find a way to show that the swastika is actually there for a good purpose, and has better meaning.

I just don’t see why people were so touchy over the incident when Prince Harry was wearing a swastika at a FANCY DRESS party… I do hope that this website becomes known to the entire world…

For that, I’m going to do my part, I’ll be publishing this link on all the websites I administrate and pass the link to all the people I know!

Personally, I have always loved the swastika, ever since I was a child, when I first saw it I fell in love with it and it made me feel peaceful, I don’t know why, but the swastika will always mean more to me than other symbols… Like the Cross or the Pentacle.

Thank You for presenting us with this website!

Lots of Love, Jamie Lee Andrews
